Philly Cup
In November each year, Alpha Lambda and Gamma Xi Chapters co-host Philly Cup, a weekend centered around an indoor soccer tournament raising money and awareness for our local philanthropy, Autism Speaks. This year, Brothers and Alumni from as far as Michigan attended stayed in Philadelphia for a weekend and enjoyed a party co-hosted by Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, played soccer all day, attended a social event at a bowling alley and ate free cheese steaks from Pats King of Steaks. In 2008, over 185 Brothers from 9 different schools registered for the weekend to help raise over $2,400 for Autism Speaks. The donation ultimately went towards researching causes, prevention, and treatment options for autism.
